Starve for Food!
Kids just like you are seeing their friends and families die from hunger - 26,000 every day, gone for
good, 14,000 just from hunger and malnutrition alone. They're counting on you to care. Do you care? I know your own life is busy, but do you have room to care for someone else as well? If so, you should get involved. Starve for Food!
It's easy. Just get your church's youth leader to sign up. Not part of a youth group? No problem. You can do this with a club in your school or on your own. But do something. It's not that hard, and we provide the materials for FREE.

In your own words...
This was submitted by someone who participated in the 30 Hour Famine: "This experience showed me how big God is and that He can really help me through things I experience. I can't wait for the next famine because it was a time of getting to know God better and being on the same level as many of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ."
- Natalie, Famine participant

- Go to the home page and check out the 2009 Famine Preview Video, then tell your friends to come see it as well.

- See what Famine rewards you can earn when you raise money for World Vision's 30 Hour Famine. The more lives you save, the more rewarding it feels. But it also can earn you some neat tangible rewards as well.
- See first-hand how the funds you raise help children by applying for the Study Tour! Every year, the 30 Hour Famine staff selects a small group of leaders and students to travel overseas to see how World Vision works, and how their Famine funds are being used. Where will the Study Tour go in 2009? We'll announce that destination later this year. In the meantime, get more information about how to qualify for the Study Tour by doing the Famine.
